Wow I found this as I was browsing the net. It’s a neat representation of various methods of displaying information in a graphical format.
A Periodic Table of Visualization Methods.
I have used a few of these methods before and found them to be of varying degrees of usefulness. The one that I use most of all is mindmapping. I have used it to plan teaching, projects, etc even planning how to tackle a report for work or my dissertation.
I’m gonna take a look at some of these other methods and see if any of them are of as much use as mindmapping.

I was watching an article on TeachersTV the other day and they were teaching through the medium of secondlife.
This got me thinking, I wonder if this style of teaching could be usefully employed in my practise. Wtih this in mind I’m gonna have a root around and see what I find.
