I have been taking photos for a long time but have only recently (A few years ago) started looking more seriously at SLR’s and DSLR’s.
I started by buying a Nikon D50, this was a great camera to start with. The choice was between that or the Conon 350d at the time, it all boiled down to how the D50 felt in my hands, I’m a big fella and the Nikon was the bigger of the two cameras so I plumped for the nikon.
After the D50 I moved onto a Nikon D200, this camera is fantastic and does more than I am capable of so I guess I’m gonna be using it for a while.
I wouldn’t say that I was into a particular genre of photography, I’m not experienced enough to have formed an opinion yet, so I guess I’m still experimenting.
I tend to upload my photos to flickr which is a great site to upload your pics, submit to various groups, discuss techniques and get critique on your shots.
